I recently bought a house and I am bewildered... I realize what a sheltered little renters life I have been living. I never had to think about pouring a cement patio or having a tree stump removed. I had absolutely no idea what things cost...That is why I developed www.VillageBid.com I want the service providers to give me their best price and I want to compare it to the other service providers prices; furthermore, I wanted to establish a network of feedback so we can rate the guy who did a great job or a horrible one. Who is the best poolman? Is that shade tree mechanic the best in class? Anyway... try it out. You can upload sketches of the patio you want them to build or post photos of the tree you want removed...you can even post a video explaining you need someone to help your grandmother do errands...I listed some general categories of services but you can use this blog to suggest others as well as other additions to the site.
